This paperback edition of the SARFAESI Act, 2002 includes the full statutory text consolidated with the Enforcement of Security Interest and Recovery of Debts Laws Amendment, 2016. The Act empowers banks and financial institutions to enforce security interests directly—allowing them to take possession of and auction properties pledged by defaulters without court intervention, through provisions under Section 13 under secured creditor rights.
